After working two long, painful years on Omega Testing debut _Tales of Slipknot Oceans,_ I didn't know whether I had another album in me. Certainly, I thought, if I was gonna release something new, it was gonna be special enough to justify another 250 hours of blood, sweat, and tears.

But here I am, less than 12 months later, and I have a wonderful self-titled double album to show you guys. And the fact that I whipped it it up in little more time than it took me to make _The Book of Abysmality_ is really a testament to what four years of experience can do to your productivity.

Of course, most of the material on the record wasn't written recently- in fact, almost a third of it dates back to my _Charlie N. George_ sessions back in 2010- but this new life of college work and having to conform to standards has put a whole new punk-rock perspective on my post-rock formula. Instead of working with hand-crafted MIDI virtual instruments, a lot of this was just me CTRL-V'ing MP3 loops all over the place. Sometimes the loops were missing a half-second necessary to put them "in sync" (as is the problem at the beginning of "I Love Me"), but that's just a way to show rock & roll rebellion in digital industrial form. So in a way, I'm being like Throbbing Gristle, putting together my own 20 jazz-funk greats.

I hope all you guys enjoy this project of mine. I really think it may be my best album yet.
